Baby William

Sweet. It is one word that encompasses this precious little guy. Darling William is just a truly sweet-spirited baby. Photographing a good friend, Angie, and her new bundle was very special for me. Thanks, Angie, for giving me the opportunity. Enjoy!

Seattle Lovin'

Hooray! Chris and Jessica are engaged. I was thrilled to photograph them at Seattle Center this past Saturday. Thanks, you two, for playing along. I hope you like your images as much as I do. Now, we all eagerly await your big day.

Ransom

It was a pretty chilly and foggy morning on Sunday but the Ransom family bundled up nonetheless and headed out for our photo shoot. Zoe, age 6, was sweet and easy-going. She was such a helper with her twin little brother and sister, Max and Hayley (16 months). Personally, it was special and nostalgic to have the shoot at the Ransom home since it is also the home where my husband grew up. Thank you, Joanie, for having me come out.

Tiffany, Nathaniel, & Jeansie

It is always nice to work with a client for a second time. A shoot is just a little more relaxing and everyone seems to be free just to have fun. This is how it was with the Berwinds - they're a truly fun family. Tiffany, Nathaniel, and sweet Jeansie made the journey from Spokane to do this shoot (oh, and attend a Husky game). We had another great fall day and enjoyed the color, beauty, and overall setting of the vineyards at the pumpkin patch. Jeansie was easy-going as usual. I think she is as cute as a cupcake with that darling hat. Thanks for the fun, Berwinds.

Powers

We had a gorgeous fall morning in store for us at the Bloedel Reserve. (I've always wanted to do a shoot there.) The Powers family's goal was to get a picture of all four of them. Posted are a couple - one playful, one more traditional. It was such fun to capture the spirit of the kiddos, Edward and Emma. The fall color and their smiles and eyes make for great photos. Thank you to Bob and Claudia for an enjoyable shoot.

Cole Turns One

This is the third time this year that I've gotten together with the Render family. It is always a treat. Kristen and Ed are relaxed and playful in front of the camera and Cole just couldn't get any cuter. He is now a little one-year-old and the most darling boy at that pumpkin patch, no doubt about it. Thank you, Renders, for trekking over from Seattle. I'm so glad to photograph you.

Four Generations

My dear friend, Sarah LaMar, asked me if I'd take a four generation photograph? Of course, my friend.

Dear Doris just celebrated her 80th birthday. Cathy, her daughter, was able to be with both of her gals, Sarah and Rachel. Darling Francesca, who just turned 4, and precious Ellie, only 3 months, were the belles of the shoot. And yet there is another beautiful baby girl who is soon to join this family. Sarah is due December 1st. I just cannot wait to meet her.

Crystal, Alex, et al

I had spoken with Crystal & Alex once or twice but had not yet had the opportunity to meet their whole clan. Upon first introduction and throughout our shoot it became evident to me that this family of 9 valued one another, was unified, respectful, and loving. It was my pleasure to photograph them as they were so very well-mannered despite having to wake up early on a no-school day and venture out to the cold beach. And sweet, precious Tru completes their nine. It was such a treat to capture some images of their newest addition.

Ms. Saleina

Saleina and I had a lot of fun photographing each other. Friends first, photographers second. We headed into town to take a few snapshots for our new web sites. It was funny as we both didn't know what to do when it was time to be the subject. It gave us great insight into how our clients feel, though! As you can see from the images, Saleina is a beautiful woman on the outside, but if you look deeper I think you can even see just how beautiful she is on the inside as well. Her inner beauty radiates outward.

Brady Bunch

Meet our neighbors...the Brady Bunch! (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) Jenean is the beautiful, calm, and loving mother of this beautiful, spirited, and playful brood. Triplets Ashlynn, Amanda, and Aiden are 8 and all-around terrific kids. Little sister, Sarah, is 4 and full of spunk & spirit - truly a totally cutie. How can a photographer go wrong with such great subjects?
